PLOT:
As a tropical storm approaches the Louisiana coast, all non-essential personnel are evacuated off the huge "Charlie" oil rig. The remaining workers batten down the hatches, unaware that a voracious evil threatens their lives more than any hurricane. As the night stretches out before them, the nervous crew realizes that a man is missing, and a search for him reveals that they are being stalked by a bloodthirsty creature intent on killing them all.
