We all want to be rich and live a lavish life, but for Samahir the protagonist of this play, this becomes not just a wish, but an obsession. Born and brought up in a simple middle class household, Samahir has always longed for a luxurious life and all the trimmings that go with it. Her desire to be rich comes into full play when it’s time for her to make important decisions about her future. Not wanting to skimp and save her way through life like her mother, she rejects her simple and honest cousin’s marriage proposal and decides to aim high when it comes to love and marriage.
